WinSol is a for-profit company located in Flint, Michigan and is positioned to serve the Mid-West United States, the Great Lakes region, Canada and the Eastern seaboard of North America.  WinSol was created to help meet future energy demands, reduce carbon emissions, improve energy security, develop sustainable manufacturing solutions to help other clean energy supply chain companies optimize production capacity and overall profitability.

WinSol  was formed to attract new industry to Flint, Michigan and the surrounding region, to create new, high-paying jobs and spark the growth of new small businesses, to promote new clean energy strategies and technologies, and to produce, manufacture and distribute clean energy components, equipment and parts to support the clean technology energy sector, with special emphasis on the development of offshore wind turbine blades.

WinSol's 20,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility is situated in a federal Hub-Zone and Renaissance Zone, in close proximity to Michigan's two major electric power untility companies, and within a 75 mile radius of more than 25 companies identified as participants in the wind energy manufacturing industry.  WinSol is surrounded by Kettering University, the University of Michigan - Flint and Ann Arbor, Michigan  State University and Wayne State University, each known for their extensive research and development capacity.  In addition, WinSol has access to a ready-made, underutilized, skilled and unskilled labor force.
